ReplyDeleteYay first place!!
ReplyDelete1. I didn't start studying for final exam. I am planning to go over my previous tests to study for the final exam on Friday.
2. This year was no challenging for me. I didn't perform the best I could have. I could have done all the homeworks without losing them or forgetting to do them.
3. I feel confident about my mathematics ability because even if it is something I don't know, I can learn fast.
4. I like Pre-Algebra class this year because I was able to use calculators, the word problems for tests were funny, and I like Mr. Jobe... :-)
1) Not yet, but I am planning to study soon. I'm going to look at the pages document that you have posted for finals. Then, I will go over the textbook and the tests I took.
ReplyDelete2) It obviously got harder than last year. I tried hard to understand the concepts that we learned. I don't study for the chapter tests, but next time, I should really practice to get higher scores.
3) I don't think there "must" be an extra study for Algerbra I. It will help me understand better and quicker, but I still can learn in class.
4) I liked this class very much, enjoyed the examples that teacher gave for solving math problems. The lessons were easy to learn.

ReplyDelete#1 I started studying for the final exam. I studied only few chapters.
ReplyDelete#2 This year hasn't been challenged to me. I think I didn't perform the best as I can. I tried my best sometimes, but not all the times. I could have raised my hand and participate more.
#3 I think I need to study during summer. Even though I learned it, I have to review and study more.
#4 I like Pre-Alegebra because the lessons were easy to remember because Mr. Jobe explained the lesson with many different types of activities. Also, the review games were fun to play!
1. I have stared studying for the final. For the final, I went over the textbook and the problems that I got wrong on the test.

1. Yes, I have been starting to study the final exam. I have been starting to review chapter 7 and 8. I plan to review all the chapters because I may have forgotten some of the chapters that we took quite a while ago.
ReplyDelete2. I think that this year was comfortable with me because many lessons were learned like a year ago, so I was very familiar with the math lessons. I think that I did my best. Also at Chapter 12, I learned new things which I never knew about.
3. I have been already studying algebra and know most of the algebra skills, but I think that I should up my skills to have a bit easier time during algebra class next year in 8th grade. I think that my math skills aren't very good yet, but I wish to get better in the future.
4. I liked Pre-Algebra this year because it covered some parts that may come out in Algebra. Also Pre-Algebra gave me a start to what Algebra might be like and I might do better during Algebra class.
1. I didn't study for the Final Exam yet. I will go over the test and the textbook to study for the final exam
ReplyDelete2. This year was kind of challenging for me. I didn't perform the best as I can and I could change by studying for the test.
3. I think I need to study Algebra in the summer.
4. No because we always studied and I don't like Math
1) Have you already started studying for the final exam? If so, what have you done? If not, what do you plan on doing to prepare yourself for Friday's exam?
ReplyDeleteNo, I haven't started studying for the final exam on friday. I am planning on studying by reviewing my notes and the keynotes on the wiki.
2) Has this year been challenging for you? Do you think you performed the best you could have? What could you have done differently?
Yes, this year has been challenging for me. Yes, I think I performed the best I could have. I could have done something different like, study for my quizzes because I usually don't study for my quizzes.
3) The Algebra I course at KIS is challenging. Do you think you need to hone up on any skills over the summer, or do you feel confident about your mathematics ability?
Yes, I do think that I need to hone up on any skills over the summer.
4) Did you like Pre-Algebra class this year? Why or why not?
Yes, I did like Pre-Algebra this year. I liked it because I have learned so many new thing during this year.
1) Yes by doing review in class and I looked over the tests that I have taken this year.
ReplyDelete2) Yes every year I learn new things which are challenging. I think I should studied more on tests. I think I did try my best, but the results weren't that good.
3) I think I should study Algebra during Summer because I don't know what Algebra is about.
4) No, because I don't like math.
1. Yes, I started studying for the final exam by going over the chapters in our textbook we did during this semester and by reviewing the quizzes and tests.
ReplyDelete2. This year has not been challenging for me. I think I could've performed better by studying for quizzes as much as studying for tests.
3. I'm confident about my mathematics ability but i think i should still start to take a look at Algebra during the summer and try to do some problems.
4. I liked pre-algebra class this year because, it wasn't too challenging nor was it too easy. The way mr.jobe taught us was easy and fun.
1. I have downloaded the file you put up on the wiki, but I did go over it yet. I plan to solving problems that were in the past chapters and look over the HW i did.
ReplyDelete2. This year was kind of challenging for me, this year I didn't perform my best, something I could of done differently was studying hard for the tests.
3. I think I should study Algebra over summer break.
4. I liked Pre-Algebra this year, but the problem was that I was kind of struggling with it.
1) Have you already started studying for the final exam? If so, what have you done? If not, what do you plan on doing to prepare yourself for Friday's exam?
ReplyDeleteI didn't really have the time to study for the final exam, but I'm most likely going to review my tests, quizzes, worksheets, and even the keynotes on the wiki on Wednesday.
2) Has this year been challenging for you? Do you think you performed the best you could have? What could you have done differently?
This year has been kind of challenging for me because I jumped in in the second semester, but I tried my best to catch up with the others, and listen and write notes during class. One thing I could have done differently was probably listen more during class than writing notes.
3) The Algebra I course at KIS is challenging. Do you think you need to hone up on any skills over the summer, or do you feel confident about your mathematics ability?
I think I would need to hone up on my math skills over the summer for eight grade next year, so that I can understand everything right on the spot.
4) Did you like Pre-Algebra class this year? Why or why not?
I really liked Pre-Algebra class this year because Mr. Jobe taught us in a unique and fun way. The keynotes helped a lot. I learned a lot.
1) No, I have not started studying for the final exams because I was quite busy. I plan on reviewing the previous chapters and tests that you handed back to us. I would also try an do some sample questions for each chapter.
ReplyDelete2) I don't think that this year has been too challenging for me. I do not think I performed the best I could have. I could have not forgotten or lost the homework, that way I could actually do it. Also, if I do not know the answer, I could ask Mr. Jobe before class.
3)I think that because Math teachers go over the chapters very thoroughly, I won't really need to practice it before 8th grade. I just need to pay attention in class and I think I'll do just fine.
4) I really liked pre-Algebra this year. First of all, Mr. Jobe was really funny and enthusiastic to teach everyday so that energy kind of got passed on to me and I would usually pay attention to what Mr. Jobe was saying. Second, there wasn't too much homework, but enough to get me to understand the topic.
Thank you Mr. Jobe for teaching us.
1) Have you already started studying for the final exam? If so, what have you done? If not, what do you plan on doing to prepare yourself for Friday's exam?
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't start on studying for my exam. :(
I am planning on memorizing the formulas for the surface area and the volumes of an object. I would also go over the test which you handed for us to study. On some tests, I had lots of mistakes which I didn't go over yet....I would definitely go over the tangent, cosine, and the sin.
2) Has this year been challenging for you? Do you think you performed the best you could have? What could you have done differently?
I think this year has been an okay year. Some of the lessons, I understood perfectly, but some where still a bit confusing. I don't think I performed the best I can this year. I could of studies much more and be much more prepared than before.
3) The Algebra I course at KIS is challenging. Do you think you need to hone up on any skills over the summer, or do you feel confident about your mathematics ability?
I already have a math academy ready for during the summer. From what Mr.Jobe told to the class and what my mom said was that I would need to be more prepared for Algebra class next year. I don't feel too confident about next year, because I sometimes think that I am behind in this class.
4) Did you like Pre-Algebra class this year? Why or why not?
!!!!:)
I liked Pre-Algebra class this year, because I think Mr.Jobe made the classes exciting and sometimes it seems as if the time is flying!
I think Mr.Jobe tried to make the class understand better by giving examples if we didn't understand it.
This is the final bloggg :(((((
1) Have you already started studying for the final exam? If so, what have you done? If not, what do you plan on doing to prepare yourself for Friday's exam?
ReplyDeleteI have started "reviewing" the concepts we went over the whole year. Reviewing is a bit different from studying, for reviewing is just getting my old engines starting again, warming up. Studying would be a bit more complex, deeply understanding the concepts, and practicing more. I have downloaded the Pre-Alg Sem2 Finals Study Guide file long time ago, and is still looking over it, going "Oh, yeah, I remember this!" every time I see something we covered 4 months ago. I have memorized important geometric formulas and SOH CAH TOA, the one that I'll never forget in my life. It would be effective when I gather up all my notes, my homework, my quizzes, my tests, my keynotes, and the review all together for the final exam.
2) Has this year been challenging for you? Do you think you performed the best you could have? What could you have done differently?
To be honest, this year was challenging for me. I had numerous troubles with homework, and new worlds of mathematics. It's not that I knew any of these concepts before I started this year, it's that I was interested on how such rules and formulas could be figured out. Then you could logically think about it, realizing how the mathematician came up with that theory. I think the most challenging part for me of this year was the limited amount of time I had for most of the assignments. Eventually that led to no neatness, sometimes even hard to read what I wrote on my own. I have performed and tried my best in class; however, I was unfocused several times during the semester. I could have thought more deeply on each of the sayings by Mr. Jobe, and of course, fix my messy homework assignments. I would fix my neatness by writing slower, patiently.
3) The Algebra I course at KIS is challenging. Do you think you need to hone up on any skills over the summer, or do you feel confident about your mathematics ability?
I've heard from current 8th graders that Algebra I is complicated and difficult to understand. For me, I had the exact same feeling I have now, when I was in 6th grade. In 6th grade, I was all worried of my first step to algebra, and worries of me not understanding the concepts. However, with a fantastic teacher, I have overcome that fear about the first 2 weeks of Pre-Algebra. Just like this, I would have to actually face Algebra I to know how hard it is. I haven't done anything in particular over the last summer, preparing for this year. I tend to get fascinated with whole new concepts, wanting to know more about it. So I wouldn't have any problem getting fit to knew concepts in 8th grade. Although, I would have to hone up my speed while solving. Sometimes I'm too concerned on one single question, not noticing the clock ticking by.
4) Did you like Pre-Algebra class this year? Why or why not?
This question is simple. I really appreciated Pre-Algebra class this year, with all your effort on all lessons. I personally think I practiced more, because I felt excited about new topics in mathematics. All of my friends were nice, and helpful anytime I was confused on homework assignments. I especially liked those activities that we would do several times, and it was a new way of learning math. I would want the same math class for me next year, also.
1: I didn't start studying yet. I plan to go over to go over tests and also study few types of problems that i have gotten wrong on tests.
ReplyDelete2: This year has been very challenging. I've have lots of trouble with organization and reviewing, I believe that i can improve on that. Sometimes, because I just rushed sometimes to finish homework, I didn't really get to understand some concepts. I really need to work on that.
3: Truthfully, I'm actually scared and nervous of Algebra. I think I'll really have to shape up to the fact that we only get a bit of time for assignments and that I can't lose them.
4: I really enjoyed Pre-Algebra. It was fun and interesting. The concepts were very easily understood because of Mr. Jobe's excellent teaching. :)
1) I didn't start studying for the final exam yet. For the final exam I'm going to go over all the tests, quizzes, and homeworks. I will also read over the text book.
ReplyDelete2) I thought this year was very challenging. On 6th grade my teacher wasn't that tense for math so I think I have struggled in math. I think I could of done better when I studied more on the word problems.
3) I am kind of nervous of Algebra because I didn't improve on math that much. But I think I will have to study more during the summer.
4) I liked Pre-Algebra class this year. I liked Mr. Jobe's teachings. It got me kind of tensed up so I think I will be better next year.
1) I am looking over all the key notes but sadly I have to use the text book for the SOH CAH TOA as the key note is long gone. I am also using the textbooks.
ReplyDelete2) I think it wasn't the hardest but definitely not the easiest. There were some really hard chapters which I didn't do so well in. I think I can try to do all the extra credit things next year.
3)Already, I planned with my mom that I might go to a hagwon or have to do math everyday.
4) I liked math because you made it interesting and funny sometimes. I hope I have you next year because I know I can try better.

ReplyDeleteI was testing because my real blog didn't come out sorry XD
ReplyDelete1. Yes, I have studied the final exam by looking over the notes I took during the class and reviewing some problems from the key note.
ReplyDelete2. This year was kind of challenging, because some of the lessons covered what I haven't learned before, such as SOH CAH TOA. I think I mostly tried my best, but it would have been better if I reviewed at home
3. I think I should go over some of the chapters which has confused me, so that I can be ready for Algebra.
4. Yes, I enjoyed Pre Algebra because it wasn't that challenging as I thought and Mr. Jobe gave a lot of extra credit homeworks.
